Oddly Enough

I have maintained my streak of posting only on odd-numbered days. You may stigmatize me as a geek, well, graciously accepted :) I had an amazing weekend once again with my burbie friends :P and "Josie", coupled with three straight dinners at Bademiya. Last night to get back to my humble abode, I hailed a cab and guess what, I got a surdy cabbie which made me very "happy". When I reached home, I got out to pay him and asked him about the tariff. I checked my watch to make sure if I had made it before the night charge. Sardarji with great conviction uttered 44/- but it was actually 35/- I said "abhi 12 nahi baje hai" and he promptly replied, "12 ho gaye". At this very moment we both realized what we just said and instantly burst into laughter. I was warmed with the light-heartedness of the poor fellow and we settled the deal at 40/- You gotta give it, Sardars are the most happy bunch of people in this world. Josie!
